Cinderella's Dress

Building fabric out of plastic is a genuinely tricky problem, and these 474 pieces solve it with layered, flaring skirt panels that read as soft from across the room. The finished gown stands on its own display base with small surprises tucked into it, and a mouse character turns up to help, just like in the film. It was made for the 75th anniversary of Cinderella, and the profile tile of her on the base is the kind of quiet detail you only really notice once you have placed it yourself.
