What they are

Your building currency, used for one thing: renting LEGO® sets. You redeem them at checkout.

How you get them

On a plan, Brick Points are deposited automatically each month. No plan? Buy them anytime at checkout at $1 = 1 Brick Point.

They never expire

Points roll over month to month, so you can save up for a bigger build with nothing lost.

    When your set is ready, you get 2 business days to confirm your address and that you're ready to build. Once you confirm, we ship. If you don't confirm in time, your spot passes to the next person in line and you keep your place, for up to three chances before the pre-order is cancelled. If no one is behind you, it's cancelled on the first miss. Either way, you get most of your Brick Points back.

When the set you want is out of stock, we promise to get you the one you want as fast as possible. You'll receive your spot in line when you place your pre-order, but being third in line doesn't always mean you're 3+ months away from build time. Our system and team are designed to speed up your timeline and get you building as soon as possible. Pre-orders are how that happens, but remember spots are limited, so act fast when pre-orders are available.

Return your sets on time with all the pieces and you pay nothing. Returns are always free with the prepaid label in your box.

Missing or damaged piecesMarket value + $3.00
If a set comes back missing or damaged pieces, we will replace up to 5 common pieces from our massive replacement inventory. If we don't have the piece or it’s a special set-specific piece or a minifig, then we charge the market value of the pieces plus a $3.00 piece replacement fee, per set to help for shipping.
LateProrated per day lateA small fee for each day past the due date
If a set is not back by its due date (Day 64), a small prorated fee applies for each day it is late, based on the set's daily Brick Point price. You have 5 days to get it back to us. Return it in that window and you only pay for the days it was late. If it is not returned, the late fee is waived and the set is purchased.
Never returnedPurchased the setNew market value + a replacement fee
If a set is never returned, on Day 69 you purchase the set. Your card is charged its new market value plus a replacement fee (10% for in-production sets, 15% for retired). A set's value can rise a lot after it retires, so the final price is based on its market value the day it is purchased. We would appreciate you returning the set so more builders can enjoy it.

Most builders never see a fee. Return on time and you are all set.

How does renting work?

1. Browse our Explore Page and add sets to your cart. 2. Your cart will show the Brick Points cost for each set. If you don't have enough brick points, the cost to purchase the difference is calculated automatically. 3. We ship your sets with a prepaid return label included. 4. Build, enjoy, and return! 5. When you're ready, break it down and ship it back using the prepaid label. Lost the label or no printer? Get a QR code from your portal and the carrier will print it for you at their counter. You can even earn bonus Brick Points by following the breakdown guide we provide! Learn more on our How It Works page.

Do I need a plan to rent?

No, pay-as-you-go works too. At any time, you can buy Brick Points at checkout or in your customer portal at your plan's Brick Point rate. Plans add monthly Brick Points, a free shipment and a higher set limit, and give you the opportunity to earn Brick Point bonuses.

How long can I keep a set?

For up to two months max. At checkout, you're paying for the first month (30 days), plus an additional 3 days to account for your return shipment. At the end of the first month, if we haven't received your return, your rental renews for a second month (30 days) at the same Brick Points cost. Any additional Brick Points needed at that time are charged at your Brick Point rate.

Do Brick Points expire?

No. Your Brick Points roll over month to month and never expire. Skip a month, stack them up for a bigger build, or rent something new every month.

Is return shipping free?

Yes, always! Every order includes a prepaid return label. Just drop off the package at the carrier location shown on your label.

Am I charged if pieces or minifigures are missing?

If a set comes back with pieces or minifigures missing, we charge the pieces' market value plus a $3.00 piece replacement fee, charged once per set. We source prices from BrickLink so the piece value is fair, and you can view the full breakdown in your Customer Portal under Billing.

Sending the sets back is always free. Sorting the pieces for a Breakdown Bonus is optional.

Return the sets using the included return label and box. Do your best to secure the set in the outer bag. If it doesn’t fit, just put it in the box securely.

Set Limit

How many LEGO® sets can be assigned to you at once. A set takes one of your spots the moment you order it, and holds it through your build and its return. Once your return is back and confirmed, that spot opens up for your next set.

Pre-ordering reserves one of your spots, so your set comes straight to you the moment it's ready. Because a pre-order can arrive any time, that held spot keeps you from being maxed out and missing it.

Free shipments each month

Your plan decides how many you get each month. Use one on an order, or reserve one for a pre-order, and put every set you want into a single order so one shipment covers them all. They refresh each month and don't roll over, so use them before the month ends.
