Custom Police Car garage

The garage walls here are modular, so you're building sections that come apart and rearrange rather than one fixed box, and the workshop floor has a turntable for spinning the cruiser around while you work on it. Four minifigures run the place, including two mechanics with a proper tool cart. The best part is the cruiser: it takes a set of swappable attachments that convert it for road, off-road, snow and airborne duty, so the building keeps going long after the last of the 489 pieces is in.
