Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops

Building a fossil is a different kind of challenge, and this Triceratops leans all the way in. You start with an internal spine and hang a ribcage of curved slopes off it, then work outward in tan and bone tones until 1,154 pieces have become a 16 inch long skeleton with a posable head, legs, tail and a jaw that opens. It sits on a wetland base with Cretaceous plants and an information plaque, and Dr. Gerry Harding joins the dig, the vet who tended the sick Triceratops in the 1993 film.
